Daily Stretching for Martial Arts





One of the key essentials in Martial Arts is regular, daily stretching to keep the muscles and tendons flexible to carry out the techniques effectively and without injury... Being flexible will also help in all areas of life.

Here is a great video with a narration which gives you a stretching routine in 6 minutes... This allows you to expand your stretching routine to a suitable time for your needs.




              




The main take away from this is that to make your stretching effective, you need to hold the positions for longer – According to your current flexibility... But with an aim to grow from there by continually increasing both the length of time you stretch for and the degree to which you stretch.
